General Rehearsal Info:

Unless otherwise noted, rehearsals are held weekly on

Time:  6:00 – 8:00 pm

Orchestra Rehearsals

October:

  • October 4th – (at EMS) first rehearsal/opening social
    • 6:00 Strings
    • 6:30 add Woodwinds & French Horns
    • 7:30 add rest of Brass and Timpani 
    • 8:00-8:30 Opening Social with Chorus in commons – root beer floats by Dad’s Famous Ice Cream!
  • October 11th
    • 6:00 – 8:00 Strings on stage
  • October 18th
    • 6:00 – 8:00 Strings on stage
    • Woodwind/brass sectionals also TBA
  • October 25th
    • 6-6:10 #13 Pastoral (strings only) 
    • 6:10-6:20 #1 Overture (no flute) 
    • 6:20-6:40 #4 And the Glory, #21 His Yoke is Easy, #9 Oh Thou That Tellest (no oboe) 
    • 6:45-8:10 (with brass & percussion) – #12 For Unto Us (no clarinets), #17 Glory to God, #44 Hallelujah, #53 Worthy is the Lamb, #48 Trumpet Shall Sound (no flutes, oboe, or percussion)

November:

    • 3:00-4:30 dress rehearsal
    •  6:00 Messiah concert
  • December 3rd (Monday) – (Evanston*) 
    • 5:30 call time
    • 5:50 starts and stops with the chorus
    • 7:00 Messiah Concert begins
